Honoring MCJ’s 2007 Champions of Justice, the Hon. Reuben V. Anderson, pioneering Civil Rights lawyer, former Mississippi Supreme Court Justice and partner, Phelps Dunbar, and Prof. Deborah H. Bell, University of Mississippi School of Law professor and Civil Legal Clinic founder. We have reserved a room block at the rate of $109, single or double. Saturday, October 13th  – Great Mississippi Road Trip – Cost $150 (Lodging Not Included)

Road Trip to the Mississippi Gulf Coast co-hosted by our national affiliate, the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law.

• Deluxe tourist bus from Jackson to Gulf Coast;
  
• Two years after Hurricane Katrina, tour of still-devastated coastal communities and visits with leaders and volunteers whose valiant recovery efforts are beginning to show results;
  
• Reception/tour at Walter Anderson Museum and walk through Ocean Springs art colony to dinner at a recently-reopened local eatery; and
